Woodscape was initially founded as a humble startup, in the year 1966, named ‘Santhaseelan Associates’, by a group of friends headed by Dr. Santhaseelan, former president of Science and Technology association of Tamil Nadu, and from there, grew leaps and bounds to be taken over by the heirs thereafter, each adding their own finesse and nuances. It is currently headed by Dr. Santhaseelan’s grandson Mr. Agnel Asir, who holds a master’s in structural engineering with many a feather to his cap. He wished to rename it with something more representative of the work we are involved in and thus, ‘Woodscape’ was born. Today, we are a medium sized organization with over 150 employees, and a colossal clientele.

The Italian legend Michelangelo is quoted to have once said, “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free” This holds true for every artist and can there be any better art than the art of designing spaces? Mere blank spaces are the engineers’ canvases, wherein our eyes see the beauty that lays deep within, and that which we strive to carve out and set free each time.
Woodscape is our cherished dream of over 5 decades, and 3 generations, serving dedicatedly with the sole aim of establishing a firm base pan India, and offering suave interiors within an affordable budget. At present, we are based out of Chennai, remotely serving other parts of South India, with an expansive vision in the forthcoming seasons. With yesteryear’s glorious heritage and the splendid technological advancement of the present day, we are well equipped to conceptualize and execute state-of-the art interior solutions with an engineer’s finesse. Flooring designers
This is a dedicated team that put all efforts in tastefully designing your floors. This team has two different sets of designers – one for tiled floors and the other for wooden floors.
